Universitat Politècnica de València opens its research offer to host experienced researchers applying to Individual Fellowships grants from the Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions Programme (MSCA).

These fellowship grants let hire researchers with highly competitive salaries.

Researchers from the UPV have presented 66 Expressions of interest in 8 categories: Chemistry, Social Sciences and Humanities, Economics, Information Sciences and Engineering, Environment Sciences and Geology, Life Sciences, Mathematics and Physics.

University of Siena 2016 Call for Expressions of Interest in Marie Skłodowska-Curie post doc fellowship

The Department of Life Sciences invites expressions of interest from post-doctoral researchers interested in a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship with the University of Siena serving as the host institution.

The Department carries out research in the fields related to the study of living organisms, including their structure, function, development, pathology, origin, evolution, distribution, taxonomy and interaction with the environment. The pharmacology and toxicology of the interactions of chemical substances with biological systems are also studied.
The Department of Life Sciences provides courses in Biology at the > bachelor, master and PhD levels and contributes to science courses > provided by other Departments.
Theoretical research is translated to practical application creating new knowledge and training the next generations of scientists.

FRIAS COFUND Fellowship Programme (FCFP) – Senior Fellowships for the Academic Year 2017/18

The University of Freiburg offers a fellowship programme, the “FRIAS COFUND Fellowship Programme” (FCFP). About 25 fellows (juniors and seniors) from all disciplines are given the opportunity of spending 3 to 12 months working on their own research project at the university’s research college, the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS).

The current call invites applications for fellowships for the academic year 2017/18.

The FCFP is intended for current or future leaders in their fields. Applications are invited from academics of all nationalities who may not have resided or have carried out their main activity in Germany for more than a total of 12 months during the 3 years prior to the deadline.

The programme offers outstanding research opportunities, not only in the research environment of an internationally highly competitive university, but also with the advantage of being part of an interdisciplinary community of fellows at FRIAS.

Aberystwyth University / Ser Cymru II Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND Fellowship Scheme

ABERYSTWYTH UNIVERISTY, and other Welsh Universities, in collaboration with The Welsh Government, is looking for high-calibre Fellowship candidates to work with stellar researchers in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine) and relevant areas of Applied Social Science in Wales. The fellowships will be three years in duration and are part funded by the European Commission’s MSCA COFUND scheme. Applicants must have a PhD with three to five years postdoctoral experience, and should not have worked more than 12 months in the UK in the last three years. ERS/EU RESPIRE3 Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme

RESPIRE3 is an international, inter-sectoral and inter-disciplinary programme providing Marie Skłodowska-Curie post-doctoral research fellowships to early stage scientists with the potential to become the leaders of tomorrow in the respiratory field. It is managed by the European Respiratory Society (ERS).

More in particular, the RESPIRE3 programme offers more flexibility and options, compared to past programmes, through 2-year European Fellowships and 3-year Global Fellowships. Its aims are to:
• Promote excellent science in respiratory research in Europe and worldwide through transnational mobility;
• Enable Europe to become a hub for the exchange of scientists, actively involved in respiratory medicine in both academia and non-academic sector;
• Foster the implementation of novel and innovative techniques and therapies;
• Gather expertise from various fields, even those not traditionally associated with respiratory research.

The 1st RESPIRE3 call for fellowship applications will be officially open by the end of October 2016 (with deadline: 1 March 2017) when the full Application Guidelines and the online application platform will be available.
